{In the last number of weeks, the catholic war device has been working on all cylinders to oppose the legitimacy of homosexual marital relationships. I would invite the pope to take a look behind him and see just where he was less than a year ago with the Church itself was bogged down in controversy. Apparently, the pope has no issue with sexual intercourse between {a man and a kid|a kid and a man}, as long as he is at least a priest and can perform his “affairs” quietly. {But when two individuals of consenting age choose to share their lives together in love and with commitment, it is a criminal activity versus GOD?|When two individuals of consenting age choose to share their lives together in love and with commitment, it is a criminal activity versus GOD?} {And for them to forget about adoption since of exactly what it might do to the kid!|Because of exactly what it might do to the kid, and for them to forget about adoption!} The pope appears to be in such contact with his omnipotence that he is oblivious to the world around him. Children today currently have 2 fathers: the one they look nothing like however takes care of them, and the one they go see every 2nd weekend. 1 out of 2 marital relationships in North America end in divorce and kids who have 2 moms and dads at house are walking into schools with weapons.}

{I for one am not homosexual, nor do I wish to see two man embracing each other on billboards, or on the street. That does not give me the right, however, to enforce my beliefs on anyone. Not as a private and most surely not as an organisation. 2 same-sex people are of no threat to me. My values and my requirements are my own and can not be threatened by the love of 2 individuals. If we were to listen to the Pope, and take action that force homosexuals to stay in the closet, we are the ones inflicting discomfort to others. And let’s be clear. We will not just be injuring homosexuals, however their family and friends and I will tell you why:|I for one am not homosexual, nor do I wish to see two man embracing each other on billboards, or on the street. {Homosexuality is a truth. It is a not a state of mind however a state of being. Most of us know who they are. It is just apparent in a lot of cases, like the colour of skin. Homosexuals are coming out of the closet in greater numbers, leaving their wives and kids behind to be who they are. We must open our society so that they can be “freed” before they are forced to take in into our “typical” way of life. They must be permitted to live. and love without worry of repercussion. And most importantly, they must be permitted to take care of their enjoyed ones as we do ours. They must be permitted to grieve at the loss of their enjoyed ones like we do ours. A homosexual needs to be dealt with as an equal. I should not need to argue that fact. {Women and fro-Americans|Fro-Americans and women} have a long recorded history of struggle, discomfort and lastly accomplishment. Why must we force yet another “minority group” to suffer?|Homosexuals are coming out of the closet in greater numbers, leaving their wives and kids behind to be who they are.
